I am a graduate of Ryerson University. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, NCCP Level 2 Figure Skating Coach and fitness model. Heart disease runs in my family and I lost my dad to a heart attack when he was only 55 years old. Losing a loved one to a disease that can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle makes me passionate about motivating my clients to become more physically active and live a longer, healthier life.

I hope that my story will inspire others to make fitness a part of their lifestyle. I’m a busy mom in my forties and my desire is to help others recognize how great fitness can make you feel both mentally and physically. I have had many great opportunities to appear in movies, commercials, print and numerous figure skating shows. I credit the discipline of being a competitive athlete for putting me on the right track with fitness from an early age. It’s this love of health and fitness that inspires me to help others experience a better quality of life that comes from having a healthy lifestyle.

I have experience working with people at all different levels of fitness, from young children, Olympic athletes, the physically disabled as well as older adults. Along with a doctor of chiropractic I developed a stretch and strengthen program designed specifically for elite athletes.

My philosophy focuses on compound exercises to get the best possible workout in an efficient amount of time. Great attention is placed on core strength, conditioning, flexibility, agility, cardiovascular enhancement and overall strength training, all essential components to a stronger, more agile body. The great thing about this kind of exercise is that it can be done anywhere and doesn’t require a gym.
